Have you taken the New Farmer Training Survey? - A provincial effort to survey New Farmers

The FarmON Alliance has put together this survey to help determine the needs of new farmers. Consultations with farmers and organizations about training and resources are being held across the province in preperation for a provincial meeting in late January.

Apple Trees - Thankfully? The farmer who was going to pull his 1000 plus apple trees did not get funding from the government to do so and has decided to keep them in the ground for now. Thanks to everyone who expressed interest, we would have saved quite a few of them and I will keep you posted if I hear anything else. Feel free to send in opportunities you see fit to share with others.
