What to Wear and Bring

Everdale is a farm. Generally you get dirty, maybe even a bit muddy. You will spend most of your time outdoors, on trails, in the pastures, gardens and forests. You may even visit the hen house or the pastured pigs. Hopefully you get the big picture: don't wear white sneakers, dig out some boots, maybe some gloves and hurry on up!

We ask that students not wear headphones, chew gum, or use cell phones on the farm. You will need:

• Old clothes that can get muddy
• Boots or shoes that can get muddy
• Rain jacket
• Work gloves
• Warm sweater or jacket
• Sun hats and glasses
• Sunscreen
• Pens or pencils
• Notebook
• Litterless lunch
• Water
• Camera (if you wish)

BEE AWARE! Bees on Site

Everdale produces its own honey and has several bee hives. Although incidents of people getting stung has been infrequent, those with bee allergies should take appropriate precautions while visiting Everdale.
