Please give generously to support our work
Growing fresh food for community members in need. Over 20,000 people in Guelph and Wellington can’t afford enough fresh food. We have rich and productive partnerships with East wellington Community Services, The SEED food project, Daily Bread Food Bank, other regional food banks.
Training tomorrow’s local sustainable farmers. Contrary to popular belief, colleges and universities haven’t yet made the transition to effectively training the type of local food providers who will make our community truly resilient in the face of things such as COVID-19 and other global disruptions. Our Sustainable Farming Certificate program and Farm Planner Course give new farmers the tools they need to succeed.
Partnering with health agencies to make good food part of our shared health care system. Our partnerships with Guelph Community Health Centre and St. Joseph’s Community Health Centre are two examples of the ways we are bringing good food into the health system.
Offering restorative on-farm experiences. Spending time at Everdale is good for the soul. We offer programs that support good mental health and a hopeful perspective on the future.
Teaching young people the life-long food skills that they need. Our Farm Camp and Farm School programs have supported more than 40,000 children and youth to grow, prepare, and share good food.
